RIVER'S EDGE PHARMACY - MEDICATIONS
In order to accommodate your treatment needs, your dedicated River’s Edge Pharmacy advocate will work closely with you, your doctor, and your insurance company to handle the process of obtaining your medication(s).
Specialty medication often requires a “prior authorization”, which examines your medical records to ensure you are a candidate for the prescribed medication. Upon approval, your advocate will work with your doctor’s office to ensure that all documents are submitted, and notify you of the results as soon as they are available.
Your Pharmacy Care Advocate (PCA) at River’s Edge Pharmacy will closely monitor your refills to ensure that you have your medication on time with no delay in your therapy. Prior to running out of your medication, you will be notified by your PCA, who will schedule a refill and delivery on your behalf.
